McCabe Family Sauces began nearly 15 years ago with one simple goal, to create the perfect barbecue sauce.
Founder Lee McCabe, a barbecue enthusiast who participated with barbecue teams and competed in cookoffs, had spent years searching for a sauce that delivered the balance of flavor he wanted. When he realized that sauce did not exist, he decided to create it himself.
What began as a personal recipe shared with family and friends gradually became a veteran-owned business dedicated to bold flavor, real ingredients, and small-batch craftsmanship.
Lee's service in the United States Marine Corps helped shape the values behind the company, commitment, pride, hard work, and refusing to take shortcuts. Those same values go into every bottle.
